Metal Roofing

Standing seam metal is the long-life roof — properly installed, it can outlast everything else on the house. In Anthem, metal shows up on contemporary remodels, on accessory structures where architectural review allows it, and on newer infill homes where the original spec called for it.

Why standing seam, why concealed-fastener

Exposed-fastener corrugated metal (R-panel and similar) is fine for utility buildings — but for residential, standing seam concealed-fastener is the right answer. The clip system lets the panels move with thermal expansion; the seam is mechanically interlocked rather than face-fastened; and there are no exposed screws to back out, leak, or corrode.

Finishes and lifecycle

We install in 24-gauge steel with PVDF (Kynar 500) factory finishes. The PVDF coating is the gold-standard finish for color and chalk resistance — most carry 30–40 year manufacturer warranties on the finish, with substrate warranties beyond that. In Anthem's UV environment, the PVDF makes a meaningful difference over silicone-modified-polyester (SMP) finishes.

Brands we install

Drexel, Petersen (PAC-CLAD), and AEP Span standing seam systems. Architectural review is in scope for any visible metal install, and we'll prepare the submission with manufacturer color samples and panel specs.
